Aussies In Malaysia For A Series Of Cricket And Netball Friendlies

THE Major Sports Development programme (TMSDP) and the Young Cricketers development programme (TYCDIEP), based in Australia, are looking forward to more exchange initiatives in Malaysia.

TMSDP is involved in netball while TYCDIEP is active in cricket. Based in Melbourne, the focus is on junior development. While the cricket team has been to Malaysia regularly, the netball squad have come for the first time.

The programmes’ operations manager Johann Dias Jayasinha said they were pleased to be in Malaysia for a series of cricket and netball activities.

“The trip is an opportunity for our juniors to gain exposure.

BJSS- SINGAPORE TEST SERIES ~ September 10- 11

The BJSS netball team are preparing for the BJSS- SINGAPORE TEST SERIES with Singapore U-14, U-17 and U-19 in BJSS from September 10-11. The BJSS- SINGAPORE TEST SERIES is the yearly test series of the netball tournament in between BJSS and Singapore since 2009.
Test series divided into 3 age groups where the U-14 squad is the combination of 4 players from BJSS and another 8 players from Sekolah Sukan Seri Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. For the U-17 and U-19 squad are formed from BJSS.
