For their dedication and sportsmanship, Arowana BJSS received two awards, top scorer Nurul Adha Abu Bakar captured the Best Player Award while the team walked tall with the Fair Play Award.
In the Men's Open, defending champions Cobra Alpha Kuala Lumpur were knocked out 10-9 by Royale Kuala Lumpur while Cobra Bravo Kuala Lumpur were whipped 11-4 by Legend B.
In the final, Legend B thrashed Royale 15-4. The former also lifted two awards -- Fryz McArthur Lennon was awarded the Best Player trophy and the team collected the Fair Play trophy.
Meanwhile, USM Sports and Recreation Centre director Muhammad Mohd Hanif said the USM-Penang International Netball competition organising committee was accorded -- for the fourth time -- recognition and accreditation by the Malaysia Book of Records for hosting the 'Largest Netball Competition' in the country.
Organising chairman Natasha Alina Ismail said 145 foreign and local teams contested for honours in nine categories. She said 13 teams from Sri Lanka, Singapore (four) and Australia (one) provided their support for an international flavour.
